Job Title: Licensed Senior HVAC Technician

Reports To: HVAC Service Manager

Compensation:
Performance pay and expected to pay over $150,000 / year.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Senior HVAC Professional to help us build an HVAC business. The right person will be prepared run service calls model excellent customer service, and help build and lead the future team of HVAC professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run service calls on underperforming HVAC equipment
  • Educate customers on:
    • System condition and expected lifespan
    • Repair vs. replacement options
    • Energy efficiency and operating cost impacts
  • Present clear, value-based recommendations for new HVAC equipment when appropriate
  • Provide guidance on proper system operation and energy-saving best practices
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on complex systems
  • Maintain appropriate service documentation and follow company procedures
  • Attend periodic training
  • Mentor or support other technicians
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of senior-level HVAC professional experience
  • Master Mechanical License
  • Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, basements)
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing
  • Ability to work at heights (ladders, rooftops, elevated platforms)
  • Manual dexterity for electrical and mechanical tools
  • Ability to work in varied weather conditions during outdoor service and installations

Reports To: Service Manager / Operations Manager

Compensation:
$65,000–$120,000 per year depending on performance

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, answering homeowner questions and explaining solutions.
  • Accurately diagnose issues and recommend solutions to clients.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local codes, and company procedures.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and documentation of work performed.
  • Follow all work orders and schedules, communicating any changes or needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and basements.
  • Stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
  • Work at heights (e.g., on ladders) and in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

  • Valid plumbing license (Journeyman or Master).
  • Proven experience in residential plumbing.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Pass company screening process including background check and drug screen.
